About Your Editor

David Compton was born in Atlanta, Georgia.  He has a PhD in Middle Eastern Studies, an MBA in Marketing, and a BA and MA summa cum laude in Political Science. He was elected Phi Beta Kappa and was selected as a  Robert Jones Scholar for post-graduate study in Economics and Politics at the University of St. Andrews (Scotland).  Before turning full-time to writing, he was an executive with several Fortune 100 consumer goods companies in the food and pharmaceutical sectors, leading marketing, strategy, venture, and new product development departments.

In addition to being the New York Times bestselling author of three novels, he also writes in the areas of  business, finance, technology, medicine, and health care.

He is now an editing consultant, and working on both a nonfiction book and his next big novel.
